Brand Photo Shoot

Today I did my photo shoot with my model to get the image for my brand, Dior.
I did the hair and make up how I wanted it and also set the studio up exactly the same as how I practised too.

Assignment

Title:  Brand Image ( Digital Image Production 2)

Location

Photography Studio: JM011, Southampton Solent University

Concept

Recreating the Dior look on my model, slick hair, bright skin, bright background and lighting. Minimal make up yet flawless skin and a darker eye look.

Technical Requirements

Using white background creating one image for a beauty ad – Miss Dior Perfume. Use different poses with the hands and keeping the face soft and natural. Skin bearing – ask has to link with previous photo shoot based on the word browse – so wrapping the model in newspaper to create a dress on the top half of the body.
Landscape and portrait pictures to be taken in different poses but using the set technical set up – two lights with soft boxes behind model reflecting off white boards and one main light facing model above the photographer.

Moodboard

My mood board shows how I want the image to be taken, strong lighting, frontal face showing skin, soft make up, slick hair and the face to be soft and natural too.

Here are a few of my favourite images -

I'm really pleased with how everything turned out for the shooting today, Everything went well, the setting up the studio was good too as everything worked first time. I really enjoyed creating these pictures and I would definitely do it again!
These are my favourite images which I took, I did decide to do some images portrait and landscape too to get a variety of looks and images.
Over all, I am really pleased with the outcome!
